Americans Abroad For Change

Part of our mission is to educate Americans abroad in ways to get involved and to raise their own awareness. Because of this, we will be hosting virtual webinars and workshops open to all.

After each workshop, you will be able to find the topic and recording on offer on this page as a reduced cost, which will be donated to an organization fighting for the specific topic back in the US - this is just one more way we can #resist from abroad.

The Complexities of Racism

In the last year, the realization that racism is still a prevalent issue has risen. The best way to eradicate our prejudices is to understand how and when they manifest themselves and most of all, how they affect others. Because of this, we, Solidarity for Humanity, invite you to take advantage of the 2.5 hour workshop recording from the live webinar that was held last Friday on The Complexities of Racism. You will have the opportunity to learn about racism and our role as it applies back home in the U.S. and in our resident countries abroad (using Switzerland as an example).

The webinar workshop was taught by Cherizar Crippen, a US based social justice activist working with BLM Greensboro and S.O.N.G.

Workshop recording access is a 5chf/5euro (about $5) donation. Money raised from this recordings will be further donated to Southern Vision Alliance, an organization that works to support people of color and works towards social, racial, and environmental justice in the Southern U.S.

Please send your donation via PayPal toinfo@solidarityforhumanity.com with your email address and racism workshop recording request. You will then receive an email with the recording shortly after, as well as the presentation and resources to follow along with the recording.
